Giving classical Arabic music influences a contemporary sound, Banah and her quartet will be taking their audience on a journey through the renowned hits that have shaped the Arabic music industry since the 1930s.

As part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, Banah and her quartet present Jaziyyat. A first of its kind, Jazziyat is a musical revival that brings a contemporary twist to classical renditions by the musical giants of the region, including the likes of Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez, Abdel Wahab and Asmahan.
