Enjoy a relaxed evening of music from the Arabic-speaking world at the another edition of ‘Open Mic Night – A Night of Arabic Music’

Enjoy a relaxed evening of music from the Arabic-speaking world with a brand new edition of ‘Open Mic Night – A Night of Arabic Music’

All music & languages from the SWANA region are welcome. Whether it’s Persian, Kurdish, Turkish, Amazigh, or Assyrian. We’d love to hear it!

Let us take you on a musical journey through the SWANA world. Join us and enjoy a variety of music you grew up listening to, or feel inspired by music you hear for the first time! Marsm’s Open Mic editions each host around five acts with 1-2 pre-prepared songs to perform for the audience, accompanied by the night’s wonderful core band. These songs could be anything from Tarab to Pop – as long as they are within the theme of SWANA music and languages, anything goes! At the end of the night, any audience member that feels inspired to perform is invited to come on stage.Want to sign up for a slot, or do you simply want to wing it and come on stage after the pre-set line-up?

Email the host Sarah at sarah@marsm.co.uk and she’ll let you know if there are any slots available.

Thinking about coming on stage from the audience, but not sure yet? Grab yourself a ticket and find Sarah on the night to sign up. Whilst we always try our best to give everyone the chance to come up on the stage, kindly keep in mind that this is dependent on the amount of time left on the night, the number of people signing up, and whether you have performed at one of our events before.

Want to just enjoy the music?

Grab a ticket in advance and tell your friends! The Open Mic welcomes a beautiful, supportive community from across the Arabic-speaking world and the diaspora.

Please note that the seats are limited and it’s first-come, first-served!

We can’t wait to see you in Jan 2026.

  • The venue is fully accessible.
  • All ages welcome.

This event is produced by Marsm.
