As the lockdown is being eased, we thought we’d visit some of the brilliant musical adaptations made by artists under lockdown in the Arabic-speaking world. 

In many of these songs, musicians used their creative energy to reflect on the current pandemic sweeping the world. Some chose an educational take on music to help raise awareness, while others used humour to alleviate the whole situation. The musical expression has been varied and lighthearted, reflecting local styles and flavours.
