#5 Beirut Groove Collective Mixtape
About the mix:
Jackson Allers and Natalie Shooter of the Beirut Groove Collective have prepared a double mix for MARSM – an hour of power to give a taste of some of the eclectic sounds you might hear at The Beirut Groove Collective All-Nighter. Jackson’s mix takes in foot stomping funk, soul, Latin rock and surf music and Natalie’s mix focuses on underground acid folk sounds from Lebanon, Iraq and the UK.
The first half of the mix is Jackson’s curation, while the second one smoothly eases the listeners into folk sounds carefully curated by Natalie.
