To call Autostrad an indie act would be squarely underselling the point – in the band’s worldly palette one detects wistful Arabian melodies, deep reggae grooves, spacey electronica and a politicised, rock n’ roll intent alike – The National

Formed in Amman the band derives their music from the everyday life in Jordan from its slang and traditional song. Tackling stories of love, struggle, financial challenges, life on the street, and finding one’s self in their music they are rated as one of the top bands in the region. Investing in the diversity of its members and the region’s richness, Autostrad produces music that goes beyond language, identity and barriers.
